"One of the functions of art is to break boundaries, and in order to break boundaries, one must first reach them. The 'Frontier' series of works originates from my personal experience and journey to the Xinjiang Hongqi La Pass, an experience akin to that of a pilgrim. Through the use of countless granular ink particles in my paintings, I engage with the concept of boundaries and reflect on the 'boundaries' between people, between people and the land, between countries, and between thoughts and religions—all emerging from the endless wilderness. This is also a reflection on personal existence, where I attempt to convey this sense of boundary through art, seeking emotions and sensations that humanity can perceive, experience, and imagine." — Artist's Creative Concept Statement.
