Zhu Qiulin is an independent artist based in Shenzhen, China, and a member of the International Association of Artists and Designers in France. Over the years, he has actively participated in numerous art and design exhibitions both domestically and internationally. His works have been showcased and collected by prestigious institutions such as the Italian Academy of Rome, the National Art Museum of China, the Guan Shanyue Art Museum, and the Chinese Modern Literature Museum. Zhu Qiulin's artistic achievements have earned widespread recognition.
As early as 2003, he received the GDC Award for Excellence, followed by a Bronze Award at the 6th National Book Design Art Exhibition in 2004. In recent years, he has remained active in the art world, taking part in significant exhibitions and competitions. Notable among these are Time: Contemporary Art Exhibition (Beijing, 2022), where he won a Bronze Lion Award in international advertising, and Latitude of Freedom 1: Contemporary Art Exhibition No. 3 (Beijing, 2023). In 2024, he was honored with the Leonardo Da Vinci Arts Award in Italy.
Deeply influenced by Eastern Zen culture, Zhu’s paintings delve into themes such as freedom, love, humanity’s relationship with nature, and human nature itself. His works blend elements of ancient Chinese figurative poetry and literature with modern abstract art, resonating with the aesthetic sensibilities of contemporary youth. By exploring the interplay between imagery, literary language, and painting, his creations embody a poetic, ethereal, and modern Zen quality. Within the realm of painting, Zhu continuously pushes boundaries and experiments with diverse, innovative approaches.
